App Development was taught to me and my peers in the Certificate to Diploma Program Pathway in the New Media Design and Web Development program at BCIT.

As a significant amount of users end up spending greater amounts of their time on apps, I was pleased to learn about the intricacies of App Development at BCIT. We learned how to create hybrid apps utilizing Apache Cordova and OnSenUI.

I found App Development interesting to learn in terms of the depth and scope we covered in class. I am particularly proud of my groups final project for a gaming app which takes advantage of the Wordpress REST API.
